1st Cookout I went to was Maryville, TN. in November. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon but people were being waited on quickly inside even though the drive-thru was wrapped around the building. Good food and service at a very reasonable price. My son commented to my wife and I that we should open a Cookout in Murfreesboro, TN. Looks like it would be a moneymaker but I’m ready to retire. Murfreesboro, TN did get a Cookout and I visited it today after church. At 11:30 am on a Sunday it was not overly crowded, Being new, the order taker was not familiar with some of the menu offerings but I’d expect that since this is only a couple of weeks old. I love the easily accessible customer hand wash station by the ordering counter. Great Idea! A couple of things I’d change to get people through the ordering process quicker would be to have menus located by the entrance where customers not familiar with the restaurant, could review the menu and have an idea on what they want to make the order line move quickly. Another thing would be to label the sweet and un-sweet containers labeled. All condiments need to be readily accessible instead of sticking them in little plastic drawers. Other than what I mentioned, you cannot beat the price for the food you receive.
Ive always had good service at the cookout in Denver North Carolina but this time the manager was working the window and I ordered 2 double fries and got about six total fries in my tray got 3 miles down the road and realize they had given us our sweeties what are usually a dollar a piece and they were 338 For 2 what to expect this from a new employeebut a managerridiculous you know what I’m saying they should not be managing nothingwe need some real management in Denver North CarolinaI will probably not ever be going back
We have been to Cookout several times and we love it. You get a lot of food for the money and we have always had good service. Wish we had one in the town that we live in! My daughters love it too! One of them is very picky about her food and she wants to eat there all the time.
I ate at the cook out a couple times. The food and service was awesome. I was in the Williamsburg area but not sure exactly what city it was. We had fifty teens all going to eat and after me and my friends recommended it many went there. None of us had any problems with bad food or mixed up orders even though they were busy. Overall was a great place to eat. If I saw a cookout I’d definitely eat there again. Great food at an amazing price.
Just ate at Cookout. First thing I noticed was the decor and then the Christian music playing. Oh and the food was good too. Very good experience. We will be back. Prices very reasonable.
GREAT! Best tasting & value on the food. But, highly disappointed with Cookout not having any nutritional information. I thought is was a guideline in Virginia to have this at restaurants.
I ordered a tray at the cookout next to UNC-Wilmington’s campus, with my tray I ordered a cookies-n-cream/reeses shake. The inefficient employee asked me if I wanted it as one shake or two shakes, and I replied I wanted it as one shake 2 or 3 times. I was never told what the cost of my order was and when receiving my food I was told my order cost 8.87, they had given me a reeses milkshake and a cookies-n-cream/reeses milkshake.
Went to cookout for the first time. Was the Lexington, SC location. Went through the drive thru and was asking my daughter if she wanted a chicken quesadilla and the order taker asked if she could get me anything else. I told her no I was asking my daughter a question and to take it off. I ended up asking for a double burger tray with a chicken wrap andbacon wrap, a side of chicken nuggets and a corn dog. Got home and that dang cchicken quesadilla was in there. Wonder if the burgers are good. Now that I think about it she never repeated my order back to me.
I just came back from getting food from the Broad Street location by Willow Lawn. The food was awesome as always; however the service was horrible!!!!!!!!! At first, the associate, Kelsey (I believe was her name) was very patient, then when my cousin became indecisive, her patience left…QUICKLY! She even went as far as getting a manager to continue taking our order. When we pulled up to the window, she was peeking around the corner while we paid for our food and began to mock my cousin’s laugh. While our food was being handed to us, she proceeded to mock it again, then she pranced away from the corner like a litttle pony. When my cousin asked her name, the “manager”, whom was very manerable, stated that they were not allowed to give out employee names. Then he asked if we wanted him to get her. We said yes. He called her name out, and she would not come to the window. My cousin and I both work in customer service, and we know that it is NOT protocal to handle customers the way she did us. We did not enjoy our experience. We’ve been to this cookout many times, and we’ve never had a bad experience until now. We are APPALLED and we will not be visiting this location again.
We LOVE the cookout and go there often. A new one opened in our town Ladson,SC. My daughter requested to go there for her birthday last night 3/6/14. We sat down to eat our food and my father had a HUGE hair in his cheeseburger, he asked for a manager and all the manager said was ” do you want another or your food back?” No I’m sorry or let me give you your money back and your food. NOBODY in the kitchen had anything on their head to keep this from happening. We will not be going back to this establishment. Hair nets would solve this problem.
