The Harrisonburg cookout location is at 1688 E Market St. This is between the Taco Bell and Wendy’s on 33 and directly across from Chick-Fil-A. The outside of the building looks completed, although there is still more work to do inside. I would guess they will open sometime in late July.

Sorry John, but the amazing thing about this restaurant is that you DO get good food at a great price. Took friends visiting from Michigan to the Charlottesville, VA location and they said it was the best burger they’d ever had. I LOVED the grill flavor on the hamburgers and the most extensive list of milkshake flavors I’ve ever seen. There were long lines, but the service was smooth and they moved the customers with the skill of Disney World. Not a long wait at all. I’ve been there 3 times in 5 days and want more. At those prices it can be done more often and it’s good food.

I hope they get to the Tidewater VA area soon.

Ive always enjoyed the food at Cookout while visiting Charlotte for concerts and races. We hit up the location near the Speedway and outdoor ampitheater concert venue. Now I see a Cookout under construction down the street from me here in Charleston. We cant wait for the Savannah Hwy location to open in the Holy City. Hopefully you will find decent workers to run the show down here. All of the other fast food joints’ staff around here is Horibble. Best of Luck and Welcome to Charleston.

Harrisonburg, VA now open! I attempted to have lunch there. Huge parking lot FULL! Dual drive through lanes lined with cars. I did go back later that day for a milkshake. Pretty good. I want a burger, though

I just drove 30 minutes to cook-out in morganton,nc. from lake james. I ordered 4 1/4 lb cheeseburgers ( along with 2 reg fries, 1h.puppy, and a coke. They left off slaw on everyone of the burgers. The hushpuppies are hard as a rock (overcooked). I first ate at a ‘cook-out in raleigh while visiting my son (which is his favorite burger joint), the food was exellent… We ate there 2 more times before my husband an I went home to morganton. This cook-out in Morganton needs some additional training in the kitchen,obviousely. I can’t even call (they don’t have a phone number) to see if they’ll make things right. Don’t even have an available web address. Called Hickory ‘cook-out’- they wouldn’t even answer after 40 rings (trying to get morganton’s ‘ck-out ‘ # . Just wanted you to remember to check your order (which we shouldn’t have to!) before you leave… You may read more if they don’t make us happy…

The cookout in Florence, SC is the best place to eat! Every other place to eat seems like crap compared to cookouts. Everyone in the whole town is there it seems like its always croweded! LOL!! When i say crowded i mean theres no parking spots left and the drive through is going out into the street!! NO JOKE LOL! I LOVE COOKOUT!! <33

THANK YOU! for coming to harrisonburg VA, my pastor kept talking about Cook-Out in NC on his visits back home and then starting getting excited that one was coming to the valley so of course most of our church has already been there to eat! WE LOVE US SOME COOK-OUT!!!! my family of 4 ate until we were so full (as if we had an all you can eat buffet dinner) for $25!!! You people are insane! Everytime I have visited Cookout in Sumter there is ALWAYS something wrong with my order. First time was when they first opened, everyone was RAVING about how great the food was, I ordered a chicken quesdilla, it looked like someone opened up the tortilla shell and threw up in it. Today stopped in, ordered tomato be added, no tomato when I arrived at home and to top that off the burger on my bun was 1/4 the size of the bun seriously??!! Great food is a major overstatement….this will definitely be the last time I go to Cookout!
