I was going to try the new Cook out that just opened in Roanoke, Va. I went to the drive thru about 5pm, there was a long line, but I was prepared to wait. While waiting a young man came to my car and asked if I would like a copy of thier menu. I told him no thanks, he said ok. As the line moved a young lady came to the car and asked if I would like to order. I told her this was my first time at cookout so I didn’t know what I wanted, and that I was going to order at thier menu board. She said they were taking all the orders outside to speed things up, if the young man with the menus had told me that I would have taken one, so now if I wanted to order I was going to have to make the people behind me wait while she got a menu for me, and I decided what I wanted. I didn’t think this was fair to the people behind me so I left.

I ate at the cookout in Norfolk near Military Circle/Janaf. the food was fantastic. My mom who never eats fast food was also very impressed. The food had a perfect portion size. It was very hot. The line was crazy. We got there at 11:50am and the line was around the building onto the main street. They had 6 people directing traffic and it a double window but they were allowing cars right off the street from a different entrence get ahead of those waiting 15-20 minutes already. But I will say, it was worth the wait. Only $10.46 for 2 entire combo meals. Not bad, actually when you add in the taste factor it makes it an amazing deal;) Try it out. There looks like they willbe opening a new location in Norfolk at 1818 Monticello Avenue……

My sister got me to eat lunch at the new cookout in roanoke va, it was serioisly amazing!I was raised in Louisiana texas state line, and this place was like a taste of home again!keep up the good work, also i noticed the “thank you god for america” and scripture on the bags proud to give my money to a company that supportsy beliefs!
